Amazon
Well, I've gotta hand it to Amazon and their help line.
I had ordered a textbook for one of my classes, since the school didn't have it, and it was "delivered" yesterday while I was having dinner with Daric. Rather, it wasn't, but UPS marked it as delivered. I was quite pissed. I waited until today, hoping it'd come by postman, but it didn't. So I gave up, and called Amazon's help line. I expected the worst, having to pay for shipping, and the book. And probably a restocking fee if the first book came back to them.
Boy was I wrong. I called them up, verified my identity with a BUNCH of stupid questions, but then I explained my situation. The guy on the other side didn't question me at all. Just said he reordered it, and that it wouldn't cost me anything. I looked, and sure enough, I had a $0 order for my book, and it was overnighted (though wouldn't ship soon because of MLK day) for free. Now, I know some of you might use this to get a free second book to sell, but I've gotta hand it to them. Rarely have I dealt with customer service, and come away happy.
So, long story short, Amazon's doing a great job, and I'd highly reccomend them. I'ma look into getting an affiliation with them as well. (Oh, and if you pick up their free trial for Prime, you get free 2-day shipping for 3 months).
